Britney Spears: For the Record

So I watched the interview about Britney Spears last night and it didn't really change my opinion about her but it did make me think about her in a different way. Seeing how she could not walk down the street because she was getting harassed by all the paparazzi it explained a lot about her actions in the past year. Everyone was joking that she had gone crazy when she was passing out in clubs and shaving her head and maybe she did but who can blame her. I would probably have a nervous brekdown if I was in her shoes. Now I have never been a big fan of her music but when she started doing those wierd things I wasn't suprised. Having been in the spotlight since she was about 10 and not having a day to just be a normal person it can mess you up in the head. Going through a divorce and losing your kids is hard enough to go through without having it all judged by the media. She talked about how every day is the same thing for her and she it gets hard not having a day to herself. Im not saying I'm sorry for her because thats what comes along with being rich and famous but I can understand . I'm really happy for her that rising to the top again. Good for her.

I watched it too, and though I wasn't a huge fan of her either it did make think of her different. Honestly she looked really sad, but its fame and being rich or being poor. When she was going crazy with the shaving of the head and such everyone I mostly talked too believed she was headed down the same path as anna nicole smith. but that didn't happen and she is really do well so good for her!

I watched it as well. Even though I am not a fan, I was really pleased with the way the interview went. I think it's really brave of her to look at her life; the worst moments of it and be honest about it. I think in this country there is so much bias attached to mental illness that it's great that someone final sits down the takes and honest and open approach to talking about it. I wish her the best of health and life.
